Preet Amol Singh is a Pharmacognosist by profession, alumnus of Pt. B.D.S. University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and Jamia Hamdard New-Delhi. At present, he is a full time research scholar guided by Prof. Baldi at MRSPTU, Bathinda, India. Perceptive to the need of crop diversification in Punjab and viewing upsurge in the demand for medicinal plants, he is working on a comprehensive approach to assess medicinal plants Good Agricultural Practices adoption feasibility studies by the farmers of Punjab besides carrying agro-ecological zoning studies, assessing constraints, drafting GAP and pre-determining risk factors using Quality-by-produce. Mr. Singh, has 02 years of teaching and industrial exposure. He is an author of more than 15 articles that are published in international and national journals of repute. He has four research awards to his credits, presented papers in more than 20 conferences. He has published more than 20 articles in Science Reporter magazine of CSIR-NISCAIR, Ingredients South Asia and national dailies such as Deccan Herald, Hindustan Times, The Tribune, Daily Post. He is life member of Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association, Indian Science Congress Association, APTI, SPER and Indian Council of Chemists. During his fellowship tenure, he has successfully published two articles and two articles are accepted in highly impactful journals and more than four articles are currently under review in renowned journals.
