Roma Pandey is a Research scholar at Department of Biotechnology, Bennett University, Greater Noida under the supervision of Dr. R.S. Chauhan (Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology), Bennett University, Greater Noida. She holds sound academic credentials and hands-on trainings from renowned institutions like International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), ICMR-National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR), Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D), Teva Pharmaceuticals and many more. She has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida. During her 6 years of experience in academics and research institutions, she has developed an excellent knowledge of concepts and techniques used in biotechnology along with practical experience. Her achievements count fellowships from prestigious institutions like Indian National Science Academy. She has presented papers and posters in multiple conferences and regularly attends workshops/ seminars related to field of biotechnology.
She has recently worked as a Research fellow in the Department of Biotechnology funded project on Molecular characterization of important secondary metabolite biosynthetic machinery components in different chemotypes of a North western Himalayan medicinal herb.
